100 kph is pretty slow for a high end glider, especially once you get into slope soaring. World record is in the region of 500+ KPH.

Here we go, this guy claims 750 KPH. Fast enough you can't see much on the camera beyond the occasional flicker.

Yeah, I was being conservative as I've never measured. 100 isn't bad for frontside. Dynamic soaring on the back side is where the speed is. That video is real. Quite a few guys have gone over 400mph now.

Caryl, I don't think people make any noise after they get hit at 100, they don't move much either... :o

I'm just starting out on planes as well. Have a few heli's and wanted to try something different.

I got told to buy a ParkZone Super Cub by quite a few people and it seems to be a reasonable starter plane.

Yup, that's a good one too.
