Li@m
I am looking at either a electric blue rams or Aspitos of some kind, Peacock maybe? Preferably i would like to have a pair but will settle for 1? Tank size: 60x40x40cm (LxWxH) ---WILL BE PLANTED--- Other in habitants: 7 bronze corys, 20 Ember Tetras (eventually maybe not so many?) Any suggestions good or bad are welcome? Cheers.
ichthus
I have a bolivian ram - not the prettiest of the dwarves, but pretty hardy...
malevolentsparkle
Isn't that a little small for dwarfs? I thought they needed at least a 900mm tank for a pair?

Joe
You could keep rams, cockatoos and various other Apistos happily in that sized tank. Another suggestion is Pelvicachromis taeniatus (wild kribensis). They're a lot smaller than standard kribs (P. pulcher). I kept pulchers ones in a 60x30x30cm tank and found that it was fine for the pair, but they got really aggressive and chased the other fish, so I would stick to a medium sized tank for them. I wouldn't put more than two pairs of dwarfs in there. Hope that helps
the-obstacle
...they got really aggressive and chased the other fish... A pair of any apisto will be fine but WILL get aggressive when/if breeding. I lost a lot of cories in my display tank because of a breeding pair of cockatoos. As long as the tank is not overstocked and there are plenty of hiding places they'll be a great addition to your tank.

Li@m
maybe a pair of keyholes Yeah.. The're a little big. Looking for under 10cm as to not give my tank a crowded look. :smln:
