KrazyGeoff
Does anyone know where to get earthworm sticks? And if there arent any in nz, does anyone know how to import them? http://www.kensfish.com/kenssticks.html I imported a fair bit a while back. The postage will kill you (Postage was about 2.5 x the value of the product as they are quite heavy), but the exchange rate is better now. They come really well labeled, and I even had a dialogue with MAF. Basically there is nothing in them that will prevent them coming through the border. Even better if you know someone coming from the USA then they can bring them in for you.
jim r
What are earthworm sticks please?
Artem
Thanks Geoff Would you say they're worth the wait? @jim r: They're like shrimp pellets except with earthworms. Lots of people in the states and the UK use them for plecos, chiclids, cories and just about any meat eating fish.

Joshlikesfish
Thanks for that , me thinks I will have to get some of those. The website reckons they are really good for livebearer breeding. I'd be keen on some too
KrazyGeoff
Thanks Geoff Would you say they're worth the wait? Well .............................. Artem
They were not the viagra that I hoped them to be :slfg: It comes out to $126 NZD for a 5lbs bag, which is approximately 2.5kgs. So roughly $50/kg, Wardleys shrimp pellets are $61/kg. So Id say fairly reasonable
