lol could search and find all the issues with eheims/fluvals but there wouldn't be any point As with everything you will get the occasional bad one or operator error that can pop up especially after over 2 years of use..

Two years and the first problem they have had with it though...

I'd be pretty peeved if my fluvals / eheims became problematic after 2 or even 4-5 years.

The first time I put my CF1200 together the lid didn't want to sit down flush, re-seated the bottom tray and all was good.

I really dont think that there is too much to go wrong with them :dunno:

my eheims come up 13 years old and still going strong. but my fluvals 304 & 404 & 204

304 lasted six years retied broken housing. 404 4years need new pump impeller same with the 204....dont like sand in tanks with fish that dig....my reckment is if you can aforded it get a eheim....you cant go wrong..

cf1200 is your next choice.....my one comeing up 7 years still going but if it last as long as the eheims ill give it the tumbs up...

So far half the lifespan at 1/4 the price you're already getting double the bang for the buck with the CF1200.

I like the Aqua One.

- good reliable pump

- easy to clean

- easy to connect/disconnect hoses

- large media volume

- very little noise
