smidey
Thirty seconds ago I bought a breeding pair of kribs. Two very small girls 1 male. Male has pop eye :-? Actually half his eye sticks out like its a wart or something? two different things. pop eye is usually due to poor water quality & good water quality is the cure. the other may require pics to try to sort exactly what it is. Joshlikesfish
Yeah I don't think its pop eye. Not also sure if I can trust the seller who said they're a pair :-? Females about 4cm long, do they spawn at that size? I have dosed some salt and i'm going to do lots of water changes. Will take pics tomorrow

Joshlikesfish
Kribensis. Sorry forgot to state full name
Adrienne
Well I've got free male kribs. Let me know if you want one. Top quality, young but big. Pop eye often clears up by itself if you keep the fish in good water conditions. I've also used melafix with some success after a fish has taken a knock to the eye and its bled into the eye itself. Joshlikesfish
Would I be able to grab one? I'll buy two extra girls. Love the genes of those kribs you have. Mines blue

phoenix44
Need a pic. pop eye is usually bacterial and needs antibiotics. However, it is the sellers responsibility to sell a healthy fish; pop eye does not develop in 30 seconds.
Neon
I've used furan 2 once for pop eye, which appeared to work
Navarre
You might be dealing with 3 things here Josh Pop eye ...can be bad water ...can be bacterial ...can be TB destroy the fish clean tank and start again Make sure you have no cuts or grazes on your hands and wash them after handling fish nav
Joshlikesfish
Cant be my bad water. He had it in the bag. Its definetly not pop eye but i'll be careful with the fish
