It is apparently 19.3km. It will be a Friday night. Or is there a shuttle bus, or any bus, going between the 2 places? They do not appear to have a shuttle service. I make a good shuttle service and you are welcome to use me as long as its not the weekend I am in ChCh for the meeting. Parnell is very near us. Taxis I would guess in the region of $60. There are shuttles that are a set price (from memory $45 a head) and you can even book one which is what we did last time we came back from Aussie - worked really well - stepped off the plane and into the shuttle straight home. Part of the interview process is an orienteering seminar on what is expected etc for an overseas job so that is why it takes all day.
