D-Hawk
I have started a community tank with 3 platties, 6 swordtails, 10 neons, and 2 bristlenoses. I was hoping to keep angelfish? what next?

malevolentsparkle
woah, definitely not angels they get far too big for that tank. I would say your tank is full, maybe even overfull
the-obstacle
Nothing next. Maybe sell / give away half your fish.

As above you need a bigger tank for the fish you already have and a much bigger tank for angel fish, plus an angel will happily eat your neons and probably your platties when they get bigger

D-Hawk
hehe so can I get angels?
livingart
as smidey said he kept young angels in a smaller tank any fish whose adult size is too big for your tank can have their growth restricted by being kept for too long in a small tank so as the fish grow you will have to look at getting a bigger tank or selling the fish on i think most of us have started with a small tank but found as the fish and the passion grow so do the tanks and their size
