Joshlikesfish
Hey everyone I just inherited a 90cm tall 40cm wide hexy tank. What should I put in it? I was thinking I could use it as a grow out, but I realised I cant even touch the bottom of it with my hand. I have no clue as to what to do with it. If it was going to be a display tank, what would I display? Thanks
waterlogged
i used to have a cool fresh water coral looking set up in mine with bubbles coming out of it. angles would look cool. or barbs. or turn it into a tererium and keep frogs :bounce:

Joshlikesfish
Yeah, but I thought frogs first Those kids that were around when you were here turned up again. They put it on their head and started spraying it with the hose...
FishBen
Fair enough! Don't frogs need a wet and dry area? Kinda gonna be restricted for that with a tall tank, frogs would be better off with a long wouldn't they? Try dwarf puffers
DennisP
Frogs would be cool! Or, something like this: http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/imag ... fdc395.jpg
Joshlikesfish
The wet/dry area would be satisfied by having a huge log sort of thing. The lights for a 3ft deep tank will be a bit crazy so planted isn't really and option :-?

Sophia
It's not a gift if if you don't really want it... .... as far as I know you aren't rolling in cash and someone has to keep all these critters alive somehow. Maybe there is some way you can politely decline or sell them on TM to fund your other projects.

I have some other odd size tanks that I might trade for bits and pieces. Really need food and heaters(and cash  )
