Sophia Posted December 17, 2011 Report Share Posted December 17, 2011 I wouldn't say they are 'ridiculously' easy to breed, only the first few fry in the community tank survived. I'd call guppies and platies ridiculously easy but these ones you do have to keep moving the fish if you want to save the eggs from being chomped. Of the 5 I mentioned above there is only 1 left, last week 4 of them disappeared but the biggest one lives on alone in the breeding box. Now I've got 2 more pairs in the breeding section of the breeding tank for a few days to see if I can get more fry. Joe Posted December 17, 2011 Report Share Posted December 17, 2011 With mine I just chucked them in a net breeder and within a few days I had about 30-50 or so fry. Didn't have to do anything.
