alanmin4304
After managing to avoid it for many yeers I am setting up a CO2 system. Where can I get a backflow preventer (non-return valve) from that will fit piping which will be about the same gauge as normal air hose? breakaway
In other words, you want a check valve? A plastic check valve can be bought from your LFS. However, I keep hearing that eventually, CO2 will 'wear out' the valve and will allow backflow / syphoning of your aquarium water into the regulator. So, I imported a brass check valve. Works great. Joe
http://www.adgshop.com/Cabochon_Ruby_p/102-512.htm Bit pricy, but at the end of the day you want something reliable, durable and good-quality. It is glass, so it will last ages (unless you drop it!).

phoenix44
Alan, you can get glass one way valves off ebay for a fraction of that. If you don't want to use ebay let me know and ill get you one, and get it sent to you like I did Adrienne's diffusers.
