Zayne
how do you make angel fish more fertile?
David R
Call the doctors at Advanced Medical Institute? Play Barry White? Seems like a strange question, how sure are you that it is a fertility issue? Are they laying and [trying to] fertilise the eggs but they are still not viable? Do you think its the male or female that has the problem?

Aquila
Do you mean they are laying infertile eggs or they just refuse to spawn?

phoenix44
Eggs are always infertile. Males fertilise them.
Aquila
Ok...than as others have said, you might not have a male and female. Have you seen them spawning? Check whether the 2nd fish ('male') is fertilizing the eggs, or just laying some more. Other problems might be that the pair is new to this and haven't quite gotten the hang of it OR maybe they are trying to lay in a current and the milt is being carried away before it can fertilize the eggs OR maybe all the eggs are just going fungusy really quickly. laying infertile eggs

Joshlikesfish
You have to catch them spawning to make sure they aren't doing the baby making without the right tools
Zayne
Ive had the male for close to a year but when i got him i was told he was about 3 years old and the female is quite young would the male being to old be the problem? Bilbo
4 year old Angel isn't that old. Definitely not to old to breed. I tend to agree with some of the above but another option is maybe the water is miles off. If the water is way hard the its possible the eggs are bursting? Very unlikely though. Zayne
they are in a divided (removable divider) tank with baby discus on the on the other side so are getting daily water changes so i dont think that the water is bad. and the ph is
