firefish
My Dad is going to make me a lid for my BT enclosure. But I just want to make sure that the mesh that will be used won't block the UV light. Are there any mesh that would block the UV?
livingart
hang the light under the mesh
firefish
I really don't want to have to hang the light, which is why i'm getting a short tank made. Is there anything that UV will go through?
livingart
big square mesh, the small insect screen stuff will make it less effective
firefish
Talked to dad about it & he said he could make a hole in the lid as big as the light. and put the light over the hole. Does that sound ok? That way a large mesh won't prevent me from putting live insects in the tank

firefish
this is the actual enclosure. I'll take pics and do a set up log, but at the moment i've only got the stand & a couple of bita and pieces. The tank should be made in about a week
