livingart
not a spinal one but used to get my shoulder joints done regularly the small amount of pain was worth the relief later
HaNs
Yes Its a HUGE needle, they got me in the fetal position and pushed it in. The fluid going in it quite a odd feeling, you can fell it expanding. Didnt hurt much though. Worst part as i remember is the needle going in. imsweet
hubby has had a couple and said the same. needle hurts a little (but what one doesnt??) Only gives temporary relief, but then again depends on what it's for.
Caryl
Hydrocortisone injections are commonly used. Sometimes they work well and sometimes they don't work at all. Grant has had them in other places but not the spine. The first set (he had both shoulders injected) worked well for about 6 months but the next set did nothing at all. :-? It is different for everyone but try not to get wound up over the thought of it! (easier said than done)
HaNs
Did nothing for me. Just have to live with the pain.
tinytawnykitten
My friend has them about every 6 months or so for pain in her tail bone. I don't think she finds them a big deal and they definitely work for her. I could ask her if she would mind you emailing her if you like.
