melrick1
Hi there guys, we have a three year old female blue tongue and realy want to breed her. One problem tho.... No boy lol. I have researched that they can be aggressive at times so was interested if anyone could stud out a male of theres for the time it takes to mate them? Maybe someone is in the same position with a male... Hopefuly someone is out there with one and we could make some arangements. thanks guys Mark and Jen
Insect Direct
maybe a better idea to loan out your female to some one with even just a little bit of experience but easier said than done actually getting them to succesfully breed. or maybe you want to swap the female for a couple of young bts

melrick1
oh ok I read that it could take a number of "getting together" but didnt relise it would be a year! I would like the idea of getting two young ones but jenny wouldnt give up her baby lol. Might have to invest in a boy at some point then

melrick1
oh ok and there's no aggression with them? Might try that at some point, Im guessing they would need a realy big enclosure? shes in a 1.3m atm
livingart
a little biting when they are mating causes some grazes to female but not too serious my males fight with each other though indoor enclosure is 2.4 metres
Insect Direct
do you keep together all of the time, what about when neally ready to pop out babies? and after birth? i put my skinks out for some sun the other day. First time they had seen each other since mating months ago. and the female had her mouth open and was going hard for the males head silly skink
livingart
i keep together all the time as new intros prompt a new packing order even with babies when babies move i have seen adults move quickly at them but then stop and leave them alone it maybe different for others though just my experience
