darkfur
a month early but much appreciated he has a mate too but she is a bit camera-shy (probably as she is moulting and looks a bit scruffy) no names as of yet, suggestions welcome

bulldogod
Have you got him inside in cage? I thought they had to be in aviary?
darkfur
they are in a 4' x 4' x 2' flight cage on an enclosed patio, they are so little that its plenty of room for them. I understand they might get cold in a fully outdoor aviary this far south but our patio has plastic blinds enclosing it so it's very warm
livingart
nice gouldian they have no underdown so are susceptible to chills the babies have flourescent spots inside their beaks so parents can see to feed them in a dark nest good luck with them
darkfur
Cool fluoro babies! Can't wait to see that I think the temperature is going to be ok as they came from a local breeder who overwintered his outside in an aviary with plastic sheeting sheltering it, so very similar conditions to here. I watched them carefully last night to see if they seemed chilled and they were fine. Interesting about the lack of down.
livingart
no need for down where they come from prolific little breeders when they get gong
