Romeo
Should be for all off-the-shelf sub-50-litre all-in-one tanks. There's not enough emphasis put on small, cheap, stunning and easily maintained planted tanks.
dreadbunny
Count me and my ar380 in! :bounce:
SamH
I only do custom tanks, none of this kit stuff so count me out. Wouldn't be fair if I entered anyways

What do you folks think is a good timeframe for establishing a tank for those who are starting from scratch?
JazzyJeff
Yup, I agree. What do you folks think is a good timeframe for establishing a tank for those who are starting from scratch? umm... one week to save, another week to purchase and set up, another week to add fish then one more week for luck? One month in total?
twinkles
3 months? Don't want it to be too long though.
Carlos & Siran
Aye, I reckon 3 months is a good time, need that at least to establish the plants and have em looking their best yeah?
wagonman
agree to 3 month's, so if the comp was to start say 1st sept, then judging for a month then the winner in december or is that to long....

wagonman
maybe it can be left up to a fishshop to judge?

Animal Antics
Hi there everyone - we would like to be the sponsor of this competition? We would be keen to make it an AquaOne AR380 or AR126 - what sort of prizes would you like to see? (be reasonable guys!) Happy to ship if its products but not too keen on shipping live fish. Looking forward to your thoughts

I have two Kribs in a 3ft tank, they may outgrow that. You may be able to get a Ram but I'd say a Fighter or some Tetra's would be better. wagonman
x2 for vouchers
Cricketman
how about a package reflecting the comp, ie. jebo fert balls, flourish, some feed of winners choice? etc... easy to ship, and is useful to anyone who has a planted tank, as we will after the comp is over. vouchers are not going to be useful to someone in dunedin for example... o and to Animal Antics for coming to the party
BikBok
Happy to ship if its products but not too keen on shipping live fish. Looking forward to your thoughts I'm pretty sure live animals arn't allowed to be offered as prizes in NZ anyway.

wagonman
maybe Animal Antics can put toghter a prize pack of thier choice which they are happy to post, and if the winner choose's to have a voucher to the same value to spend in the shop then so be it. Yes/No??
JazzyJeff
:bounce: YES to chocolate!! I agree with Cricket - Products reflecting the theme of the comp. I like that idea. Who will judge it?
Carlos & Siran
Perhaps pics could be posted without names and we all choose our fav? tho I guess most of us would vote for ourselves. Or Animal antics could judge it?
