Cricketman
thats my guess... maybe the pleco been sucking the slime off them? ive heard of that before... but not that quickly, and that many...
ken loach
115 litre tank last water change was about two to three weeks ago
Cricketman
bingo was his name-o.. bet that with the additional fish your ammonia woulda spiked. waterchanges man, especially in a tank like that, should be weekly if not daily when you add new fish. i reccomend immediately doing one. and getting your water tested, most LPS do it for free these days. dont feel bad though, we all learn the hard way sometimes. the pleco woulda started to have a munch on the loaches overnight, thatl b y they look ragged abit too. livingart
let the tank settle for awhile before adding new fish if your water was low it means that any bad stuff in the water was more concentrated you've heard of an apple a day keeps the doctor away well weekly water changes can keep the dead fish away

ken loach
I just can't work this one out Each day one or two rummys die I took my water in to Animates where I bought the tetra's - (6 for 30 bucks on special) They tested it and it came out close to perfect They gave me a credit for $60 and free Furan as the whole issue began when I bought the tetras So it must be some type of disease? I dosed the tank with Furan yesterday evening Found one dead Tetra before I went to bed When the fish die they are bloated and a bit bloody under the skin aroung the gills and fins Hopefully the fatalities have slowed up, no dead tetra's this morning... LYNDYLOO
Just make sure if your using Furan2 to complete the whole course. Have good aeration in your Tank aswell.
ken loach
yup always complete the course... by aeration what do you mean?
Caryl
It is advised to add an airstone or similar when using medications as the oxygen content can be lowered when using meds.
