:-? Why do you say we don't support the sale of this whole species due to GE reasons? I guess that means you also don't support the sale of zebra danios because SOME of them have been GE'd overseas to glow in the dark.

They are two diferent issues. Dyed fish are injected, it damages the fish and they die quickly so should not be supported. GE doesn't.

neither of the fish look dyed and I would never buy a dyed fish, but i guess GE'ed fish would be ok.

Both these fish are not on the Import Health Standard For The Importation Into New Zealand Of Ornamental Fish.

most good shops dont stock fish like that and wouldnt
