Wok
As the title says, my jags have just laid eggs. the bad news is that the other 2 fellas in the tank need to be rehoused soon. Unfortunately the next door neighbours (tank neighbours) might not take too kindly to them. However, one of the boys will be shifting down to Napier the next time I head down there, as he has been offered a room with another sheila at Aquafever. But will keep you informed at how things go, both the parents are guarding the eggs quite well. will try to get a pic of them loaded too. Wok
Sorry David no fry now they either died, eaten or got sucked up by the filter. the parents however are digging again, so fingers crossed, they will survive.

Wok
Yay, once again my Jags have laid eggs. This time twice as much eggs than last time. anyone here bred them? any tips you can provide me in order to get as many fry to survive as I can? Is it best to syphon out the free swimming fry into their own tank and fed BBS? I will also place a big sponge on the filter intake to reduce the amount of fry getting sucked in.
