Aaron-Betta
My sunshine plec has lost a lot of colour over the past few weeks and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I have done a 30% waterchange I have increased the thermostat temp to 28 from 24 degrees Cleaned filter to optimise output flow of water Aimed the output to help aerate the water better (not all at once of course) It lives on shrimp pellets and the occasional bloodwroms and algae wafers. It has been staying in one spot for the most of the last two days, nothing seems to bother it including a young BN wriggling around it. A-town...
aww nice fish! lol I was feeding him courgette and that seemed to colour him up best. I think he also was brightly coloured coz he was in the dense plantedtank and could hide easily.also is there driftwood in his tank?
Aaron-Betta
Aren't they mainly carnivourous? (from what I have read on the net) I will try it on some courgette. Yes there is driftwood in the tank for it.
Charlie
also those plecs like higher temps, so that change to 28 should see an improvement.
LYNDYLOO
Sometimes they loose their Colouring when they are stressed. Is there anything else in the Tank that could be picking on it??
