Barrie, by sign - do you mean have your actual signature on things? Like if you printed a bulk letter and you wanted to make it look like you had signed each one individually?

In that case I would suggest signing a blank paper, then getting someone to scan it for you and save it as an image. Then you can insert that image into whatever documents you want.

Not sure if I have understood the question though...

Email looks simple (although I have never done it myself).

Go to Tools, Options, Signatures.

Tick the box that says "Add signatures to all outgoing messages"

Click New

Write the signature you want in the box

Then click Apply and/or OK and I assume it will work 8)

If you actually want to add your real life signature either scan it or take a really good close up macro of it and save it as JPeg.

Either saving a word document template with the image in for printing letters.

Or asking Caryl how to embed it as a signature in out going emails.

And you can add the transparent image to photo's in Paint, I think it is called overlaying.
