JarrenB
Do you think this would be a good buy ... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=226092781 ( I didn't think you could have TM links but then I read this http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=39585)
JarrenB
I have the leading bid but it has not met reserve but I will not tell you my bidding plan, some other HB people might be watching
livingart
is this a good buy? that will depend on what it goes for eventually, a nice unit
ryanjury
They said the reserve is $180 which I would say is good for the size of the tanks with a stand and heaters and fish etc obviously what it actually goes for depends on bidders, if you want a bargain maybe ask for a buy now it might be reasonable. It will be interesting to see what it goes for, good luck..
JarrenB
they can't add a buy now as bidding has started. :-?
Caryl
They said it has UGFs. Didn't mention pumps to run them. Might not worry you but it may pay to check the pump(s) is included. I also assume the stand is included as well. It says they are on the stand for display, not precisely that the stand is included either :-? JarrenB
I will ask.
JarrenB
I have also asked about the goldfish and the power filter in the top tank as it does not say they are included, also I guess the other heater must not be in use as the 3rd tank is coldwater. I will be looking to sell some of the fish if I win the auction as I don't need then all.
JarrenB
The tanks are mine all mine !!! Total Paid $180 so now its not a case of "is this a good buy?" but "was this a good buy".
livingart
at an average of 60 a tank + heaters and stand you did alright woggy
Guest
I'd say it was a good buy but I'd buy better filters for them instead of UGFs. What are you going to use the tanks for?
JarrenB
yip, the UGF's will be in the bin as soon as they arrive at my door. I hate the things!! whats a good filter? for under $50. the tanks will be used for all sorts of tropical fish. you did alright woggy I think so! Guest
I like fluvals the best but you could get a few big sponge filters to filter them.
Charlie
just get 3 nice big sponges and a large air pump, cheap but very affective.
