Just a couple of things if you dont mind If you tilt your heater it will give it a larger working surface and make it mor efficient...or so I am led to belieave. Also if you take teh temp gauge prope to teh other end of teh tank it will be a more accurate guide to overall temp of tank as it is away from not only the tank heater but also your oil colum heater.
