Jaide
I have a question on Killi behaviour - I can't find much on the net. I have 3 young males in a tank and was watching their behaviour tonight, 2 of them seemed to be picking on one and one even "sat" on it and did a quick shimmy - is this a dominance thing? oeminx
Sounds like spawning behavior to me. are you sure on there sex? What species are they?

twinkles
two of my boys did that, until they were seperated. They only payed attention to each other instead of the girls.
Jaide
Sounds like spawning behavior to me. are you sure on there sex? What species are they? That's what I thought, but I'm sure they're all male so maybe they're confused? lol Blue Gardneri - the same as in Barry's "Beware" thread, but 2 of them are browner because they're still colouring up - I tried to google a female Blue but couldn't find one. I only have the 3 boys in the tank, maybe they're lonely?
Zev
Perhaps they are, maybe you need to find them some female friends? My Dageti males were the same - ask the NZKA members who went to the Killie show in Napier - not a good look for a display of four males! oeminx
They don't need much space and you can keep nearly all the Killie species in NZ in a 380. As a appox. max I would say 8 Killies that would be happy in a 380. Aphyosemion australe Gold Aphyosemion australe Chocolate Aphyosemion Striatum Austrolebias Nigripinnis Aphyosemion Bitaeniatum Epiplatys Dageti Nothobranchius Eggersi Nothobranchius Guentheri These guy would be ok but maybe only 4-6 max Fundulopanchax Gardneri Fundulopanchax Scheeli Fundulopanchax Nigerianus Fundulopanchax Nigerianus
