alanmin4304
If you did the outside as I hope you did, when the paint is dry, which should not be very long with a spray can.

Aquatopia
Personally id be giving it 2-3 days for the paint to dry off completely and be on the safe side After all, whats a couple of days ?
smidey
i painted mine when we moved & refilled it when the paint was still wet, added the fish straight after. No problem in doing that as long as the water & paint stay separate. I used a brush to apply two test pots of resene black. the test pots were the perfect size for my tank to give a good thick coat. SamH
Is it possible to paint the inside of an aquarium and still be "fish friendly"? I've gota tank with a mirrored back and want to keep breeding Betta's in it.
