IHBR
Hey, they are most likely the lake Kutubu rainbowfish (Melanotaenia Lacustris) and they can grow to about 12cm if ya lucky. I have 6 myself

phoenix44
thanks guys! but how do i sex them?
caserole
Females have very little to no colour(like most rainbows). If you are having trouble sexing them it is likely you only have males. Google Melanotaenia Lacustris female (images) one pic should show up. phoenix44
eggs hatch in 10 - 14 days! lol....i wouldn't breed them if that's how long it takes! that's ages!
caserole
So lets confirm, you wouldn't breed Nothobranchius rachovi either because it can take up to 6 months for their eggs to hatch.
Barrie
eggs hatch in 10 - 14 days! lol....i wouldn't breed them if that's how long it takes! that's ages! Never have children either as they take nine months and then you have to look after them for at least the next 20 years... pain in the rear eh

Ira
You can also get a dog pregnant and sell its babies, try doing that with a human!
