firefish
What shades of blue are readily avalible in bettas? I'm picturing one like this: http://www.gorge.org/fish/betta/trailing.jpg But if its not often avalible, I'll just have to change my plans... Adrienne
Yep that blue is the one most commonly found in imported males in the fish shops.
firefish
Well, i'm back from new plymouth now and came back with a fighter He looked blue in the shop's light, but at home he has some red on him and is kinda purple, when he's fully under the light. But a purple betta is awesome too! I decided to name him after grandad, so my fighter is called Gerald. Since Grandad was the reason I got this fighter (if it hadn't been his b'day, i wouldn't have gone to new plymouth) Here's Gerald: He's way more blue in real life, i'll try and get a better pic of him later
