livingart
Try asking at the Caudata.org Forums they're pretty knowledgable there. Fairly simple to raise fry though, just do it as you would fish fry. They can take brine shrimp straight from birth. this is from an old thread as it can take a while to explain it all also at the top of the page is a search button use the fnzas option to find info on questions
alanmin4304
I have not bred axies but Japanese fire bellies will eat smaller siblings and I understand axies are the same so grade them out in containers of about the same size. I have up to 10 small containers at any time.
sparrowmayhem
Make sure daily water changes if feeding brine shrimp feed them as much as they can eat in 10-15 mins they do not need to be seperated till about 5 weeks old be aware they do have a high death rate but in concerns ask on here or the axolotl forum Good luck to u
supasi
Get a culture of daphnia started. The advantage of daphnia is they will remain alive in with the babies until eaten, so they dont pollute the water as fast. They do have a high death rate. Mine are just growing front legs, and im down to about 40% of what i started with. They have varying growth rates also. The warmer the water, the faster they hatch. I wouldnt set mine higher than 18 degress C
