Silvia-15 Posted October 16, 2008 Report Share Posted October 16, 2008 hehehe, my tank updates, enjoy! the tank stocking are as follows 7 x indo tigers (2' - 15') 3 x ornates 1 x senegalus 2 x port hoplos 2 x silver arowanas and 1 x royal knife fish they are fed primarily on market prawns, get bloodworm cubes once a week and chicken heart twice a week. 2 of the indos also take hikari sinking carnivore pellets and the knife eats arowana sticks. has a 3000lph pump in a wet dry sump, 1 fluval 3 internal and some big external filter rated at 2500 lph. so yes, over stocked and overfiltered, 2 x 50% wc weekly. in a seperate 3" i have 3 growing delhezis Check the external gills!!! Silvia-15 Posted October 18, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 18, 2008 yeah, surprisingly, the big one occasionally swallows the smaller ones head when they go for the same piece of pellet at the same time. i think the dels will have the gills for quite a bit, especially if i keep them in clean water, if the waters dirty, theyll lose them in no time.
