Dave+Amy Posted October 8, 2008 Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 I heard because there's still some volcanic activity underground in NZ a pond situation would be teh best for breeding goldfish because it would never get too cold - PLUS goldfish are meant to tolerate sub-zero temps when the surface freezes over.
