spoon Posted July 23, 2008 Report Share Posted July 23, 2008 You may wish to remind the manager that your tenancy entitles you to what the law terms 'quiet enjoyment' of the property you lease, i.e. unless you are damaging the property or creating a disturbance with it you don't have to do a thing. Phone his boss and let him know what the new guy has said and suggest he gets a bit of training before he winds up getting the company sued. this can also get u off annoying agents ringing up all the time when ur rented house is on the market. we agreed to only deal with the property manager and that there would be two open homes a week at set times and in writing wrote that our ph number was not be given out to agents , they completly ignored us so when agents ring up i swear at them or tell them the house is already sold. we will be taking them to court over privacy matters. to make matters worse the actual landlord is a real estate agent Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
