July 6, 200818 yr comment_249100 My daughter has some gold guppys. Some of the males are turning out lovely yellow tails and some have red in there tails and on their bodys. To keep the yellow ones coming,.I know i have to get the reds out early. The question is wont the yellow strain get weaker if i keep doing this. And just breed golds. July 12, 200818 yr comment_250621 Try setting up 2-3 sub-strains so that you can back cross then a few generations later. Maybe focus 1 strain on body size, 1 strain on tail shape etc?? Report
July 12, 200818 yr Author comment_250627 Thanks for that. These are not mine but my ten year year olds.I have never really fancied guppys.but there are some beautiful strains out there, and have decided to take an interest in them. Report
