The smallest platy that I've seen that developed his "add on bit" was about 8mm and was trying to breed with my 5cm female it was the funies thing to watch. He must have bred with her too because all her babies looked like him and he was the only one that looked like that in the tank . Also some female platys that haven't had babies can change to a male so thats another thing to watch out for if you buy a female (so many times I'bve brought a female because I had too many males and it turned into one) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
