This is what I want to stock it with...

1x Pair of Kaudern's Cardinal

I would like to give breeding a go with them,

So what equipment would I need to do this?

Kaudern's Cardinal, are these more commonly known as banggai cardinals

depending on what you want i have a deltec mce 300 and 150 watt MH because i want to grow corals

for lights i started with two t5 bulbs was ok for softies and some lps corals

About 5 kg or so of coral rock. You are correct, that will handle the biological filtration, you should still have a skimmer if possible though, tank might get a bit crappy if you don't.
