Dixon1990 Posted April 1, 2008 Report Share Posted April 1, 2008 I have a 3foot tank with a angel pair,1 female BN and a school of 8 black widows and i want to add some more fish as it looks a bit bare. I was thinking something like a Geophagus of some sort but i think they may get too big? I like the look of Brasiliensis(sp?) Also i have 2male and 3 female BN i could put in there. G. surinamensis isn't really a fast grower and would be fine, G. balzani is another awesome fish (if you can find them. Acarichthys heckelii is a possibility but may eventually get a bit too large. How big is the tank? 3' could be anything from 80L to 300L+ Have a read of this if you want to be jealous of what other countries can get. David R Posted April 1, 2008 Report Share Posted April 1, 2008 36x18x18 is a good size, about 190L, I'm planning on turning mine into a planted tank Nature Aquarium book style when [if..] I get my 5' set up so I can move fish around.
