Naz_Nomad
I have two Eheims, 2215 and another I can't remember the model of. Both are silent and run perfectly, easy to get into to clean if required. Spares are available easily at most fish shops. So there you have it. I will always recommend Eheim, others might say Fluval or Aqua One. Eheim are expensive but you get what you pay for.
snookie
everyone rates fluval fx5
Discusguru
Fx5 will be too strong for 220l tank. Eheim is good but expensive. Aqua one is cheap but does the same job of filtering. I have about a dozen Aquaone running and some for about 6-8 years and still going without trouble. ron
Simian
I have had 3 Ehiem's of diff models and a fluval, all sweet by me. as far as hose disconnection Id go with my new Ehiem professional II You can easily adjust the flow and has a little flow indicator which makes it easy. about $400 for my latest model but thats for a 375l tank

paekakboyz
Jebo 819 are pretty cheap (less than $200) and would handle that tank no problems at all. I've had two Jebo's for several years now and they've been reliable and easy to maintain. The more expensive brands tend to have more readily available parts etc for repairs though... Caryl
I have had Fluval, Eheim, AquaClear and Jebo - love the Jebo.
Wok
I'd get a Fluval
