KathyC
I am a member of the British Chelonia Group in the UK, but now I live in NZ I am keen to find other tortoise lovers out there... If anyone knows any tortoise fans, please would you let me know the best way to make contact with them?

georgeous
well... I know it is a fish club, but there is a reptile/amphibian section, and a local club is almost always good.

William Payne
good luck from what ive been told there are huge waiting lists If I can find out what tortoises are legally available here and them make a dicision I dont mind waiting . I am going to get a turtle as well anyway due to lack of legal breeds will either get a snake neck or a river cooter or a last resort of a red ear slider . broms2
yeah you won't get a cooter, as far as I know there is only one here and they have crossed it with red ears to try to get something different. reeves are the best out of the turtles
