alanmin4304 Posted February 13, 2008 Report Share Posted February 13, 2008 I use vermiculite because you can boil it up and reuse it, and it stays with a good texture. The trouble I had was leaving the little buggers alone and letting them do their own thing until they get hungry and wandering about. Once I left them to it things improved dramatically. repto Posted February 13, 2008 Report Share Posted February 13, 2008 bottom layer?I just put about 2-3 inchs of vermiculite in an icecream container and line the eggs up in rows half burried at the surface,paper towel over the top,not really bothering too much these days,if I see them doing it will lift the eggs or now and again have a dig over the pen to see what i can find.Done alot over the last ten years,lost the challenge now but still a buzz to see them come out.
