Volkster
From what I've read and seen it ain't an easy job. Besides they don't last long, I believe their age span is round 2 years if you lucky... but I could be mistaken.

Ianab
Not impossible.. For a local octopus species you probably need a water chiller for summer, and a REALLY tight fitting lid. They can crawl through practically any gap - no bones Cheers Ian

davidb
I work at the museum and we have had octpus and morays before. Not difficult to keep at all. The problem with octopus though is that they grow quickly and can reach full maturity in an aquarium in just over a year. they also grow pretty big and can't have anything else in the tank as they will eat them. that becomes a problem when they start eating catseyes as the tank gets messy
