repto
I have a typical exkiwi brother who went over there like bd and was overawed by all the reptiles wildlife, result was a rather hefty fine for doing precisely what BD is doing. craig
Hi guy's, This is beardie dudes mum, Just to let you know: I HAVE my reptile licence.(and have had for months)as i keep beardies too and plan on getting a diamond python. You only need one per household,so kerryn won't be getting his till he is eighteen of which he has just been told,he is not a happy chappy . Your permit last 5yrs at a cost of $55.00. cheers shell
coelacanth
the permit is only to keep reptiles obtained through other keepers, it is not a licence to catch wild reptiles, and it does not cover reptiles obtained illegally (through wild capture). I suggest the legless lizard and any others he may have like it are released where they were originally caught. It may be hard passing up the opportunity to keep a reptile, but better than getting fines and the licence revoked.
