djay
Hi would firemouths be alright to go with convicts if I got around the same size. Thanks. Dianne
Wok
I would think they would be. But then again I am known to be wrong on occasions
Ktttk
They should be OK as long as the convicts don't pair up and start spawning - in which case everything else in the tank will take a beating.
Alan
Same with the firemouths tho.
markoshark
How would firemouths, Jewels, and convicts do in the same tank?
HummingBird
I can't comment on firemouths, but I once had a 4x2x2ft tank with 2 pairs of convicts and one pair of jewels, all of them spawning at once. It was awesome to watch - each convict pair took half the tank each, and the jewels were squeezed into the middle spawning on a piece of driftwood. So they're obviously ok with each other. alanmin4304
It could be more exciting than having two male fighters in the same tank. I would predict all hell will let loose if they decide to breed.
Afrikan
The tank would very possibly end up a war zone with casualties :-?
David R
One of each with enough space for them to have their own territory and it won't be a problem. Some dither fish might help too.
