Caryl
I think most suggest over 3cm.
Whiskas
I had some 2cm BN's sent from Auckland to Wairarapa and the majority were fine. A few got a little cold as it was in winter and died, approx 5/
Ianab
Once they get to an inch or so long they should be fine to sell / ship / move about. Of course if they get cold you might loose some, but that would go for any size fish really. Cheers Ian
Tsarmina
thanks all. i still haven't learned the art of shipping fish, so when they do go it would be pick up or drop off
mr pleco
agreed with above posts 2cm is the minimum around 3cm they look better and ship better anything above that and they are really in demand thou takes awhile for them to get to that size ...as a point ive just had 80 or so come out of their cave i wont move them for at least a month and then probably another month before i try and sell them ...trick is powerfeed with veges and frequent water changes hope this helps
