yarimochi
I have been looking at these on the internet lately. They are sooo cute. I wanted to get about 4-6 maybe with some bumblebee gobies and put them in an AR380 tank. Can you buy freshwater puffers in NZ or even Auckland?? I'll probably go to Hollywood FF tomorrow and check it out... Has anyone kept them before?
ryanjury
There are a few types of freshwater puffer around.. I dont know about keeping them with bumblebee gobies while they're both brackish I would think the puffers would eat them..
davidb
i think if you kept bumblebees then you would be best with green spotted puffers. They retail for $40 in the store and are the most common puffers seen in the stores. I haven't seenm some for a while though. there wasn't any in hff last time i was there 1 week ago but that could have changed... don't think so. Afrikan
Green Spotted Puffers will eat Bumblebee Gobies, or at least try to eat them, know of someone who tried that one, and they ended up with one live large Goby who forever lived in it's hidey hole.
