They have been around for many years and work but not as well as a heated, lit, aerated system. They are probably good if you only need a little bit and you dont mind wasting eggs.

yep i have one and its pretty much what alan is saying, hatch rate is really low when using this system. i haven't used it in a long time. better off just using the upside down coke bottle method.

Is the hatch rate low because of those stupid little BS eggs baggies WITH salt??

Probably not stored correctly in the first place.

Or has someone tried them out with "fresh" eggs stored in the frig??

Also with NSW??

i've tried with fresh eggs but only with ASW not natural. i think its the lack of water movement and aeration more than anything.

Hell.....................

The toy makers are certainly making a "Good Quid" at the hobbyists expense.

You dont need a toy to hatch "Brine Shrimp" a 1.5 or 2Ltr FIZZY DRINK bottle with an airstone is all you need.

Cost...........................$2.50 plus whatever "spirits" you choose to put with the Fizzy.

FORGET THE TOYS, THEY ARE JUNK. :x
