  1. Thanks for all your kind words, we think she is gorgeous! Although I have to admit I was expecting a fair-haired baby, not a very dark brunette, she is definately a daddys girl. We are home from hospital now and things are going well, although not much sleep was had last night!
  2. Have you tried Stuart Little Couriers? I don't know if they are still around but my bunny came from Auckland and was delivered right to my door for $20!
  3. Yeah that's what I did, so not sure where I'm going wrong
  4. Oh man, I don't know how to post a photo! Let's try again...
  5. Thanks for all your good wishes We had a lovely day on September 20th, and yes I did let Craig visit puttputt on our honeymoon! This is one of my favourite photos
  6. We did our own 'mini' molly hunt after one of the exec meetings last year, Kevin and Chris caught hundreds of them using whitebait nets and basically 'herding' them in. Was very entertaining to watch grown men wallowing about in the mud
  7. Mystic Kevin, Chris and myself are all going as we are involved in the executive meeting. I probably won't be bringing any fish back but I can guarantee that Kevin and Chris will be! We aren't coming back to Wellington until Tuesday 6th though. Jane
  8. Shae, your paradise address which is in your profile is on my Kapi-Mana mailing list, so you should have been getting a few emails from me lately regarding various things. Every member was emailed a registration form.

Hmmm, that last photo can't be of Marks tank, he doesn't have any bangai cardinals... maybe it is an old photo ? He used to have a couple but that was a while ago.

Yup, tank is looking awesome ! I love the school of chromis. We went out to Kapiti island for some diving today, and Pies is out playing cards tonight (3rd night in a row!) Jane (Mrs Pies)
  11. Hi Peanuts We have just re-done our freshwater tank and have plumbed two fluval 404s through the bottom. I was dubious at first but partner Mark (Pies) insisted ! It all seemed very easy, although Mark is quite knowledgable with his plumbing because of having the marine tank. I am very pleased we did it this way, it looks heaps tidier, very easy to get the filter going, and we can have the tank right back against the wall. I can't think of any reason NOT to do it this way. Mark (with Suphews help) even drilled the 4 holes themselves ! You are welcome to come for a looksie anytime if you can't wait for the next 'installment' of the tank crawl ) Jane
  12. Hang on, take that back. A phone call last night has seen me running back to my room list to juggle it around again ! :-? This conference is doing my head in !
  13. Hey Wok, remember how you said you didn't mind who you bunked in with................
  14. Aww, sorry wok it isn't on our itinerary. We wanted to avoid Te Papa, it would be way to easy to loose people in there! Although, one of our activities is weather dependant so Te Papa is a possible backup alternative.
  15. OK people, with only a couple of weeks until registration forms are due in they should be flooding my letterbox about now! Suspiciously absent is the registration form of our president Warren Consider this your friendly reminder!
  16. Don't worry Wok, I'm sure I can manage to bunk you in with someone who snores!
  17. Hi all Registration Forms for Conference 2006 being hosted by the Kapi-Mana Aquarium Club were posted today. They have been sent to each financial member of the FNZAS so you don't need to worry about chasing your club secretary to get a copy! There will also be a copy available for download on this site shortly. Remember there is a prize for the first person to register so be quick! Kapi-Mana members - don't panic, you won't receive a form in the mail but you will be receiving a modified version via email within the next couple of days. We have a great weekend planned, and we hope that many of you can make it. If you have never been to a FNZAS conference before now is the time to start, they are a lot of fun and a great chance to meet fellow fishy people. See you all in June
  18. I'm glad mine didn't arrive yesterday! I got three birthday cards in the mail yesterday and they were all sopping wet and ruined, glad that didn't happen to my Aquarium World Hopefully it will be in the letterbox when I get home.
  19. I received the NZKA cheque for new capitations last Thursday, sorry I couldn't action it until last night as I was in Tauranga for the weekend visiting family. Caryl now has the new NZKA members to add to the mailing list so I am sure you will receive your mags soon
  20. I'll see what Mark has, although I think his books are all quite 'in-depth'
  21. I got delivered home about 1 hour ago. Thanks for the ride Chris! And thanks for letting us go to Ezibuy and Bendon on the way home It was a great weekend, thanks to Taranaki for hosting it. It was good to catch up with everyone again, and to meet a few new people! I expect to see you all in Kapi-mana next year!
