oh ok. I calibrate mine monthly too. I don't 'clean' it though. but in saying that - I do rinse it after calibration as I don't know what the calibrating fluid is. its been 7 months. I assume, being weipro, not an industrial brand that the probe is not as long live. has anyone used hanna or blue lab monitors?

I bought a weipro PH Controller. the controller/probe is 7 months old. its been in constant use the entire time. how often do you have to change the prob and the buffer solution? i always double check my readings with a test kit. it seems that the meter is reading the tank and the buffer solution differently but my test kit is showing them to be silimar (tank and buffer solution is 6.9 to 7 on testkit, but controller says tank is 6.6ph, buffer is 7ph) then i try tap water - its showing as 7.4 on testkit, but the ph controller wont go over 7.1 in its reading.

mega fish formula, it says that all their foods are similar ingredients just proportion. with mega fish, it says it has vege/fruit extract. is this the juice or the actual fruit/veges incorporated in their foods?

Arowana has one swollen eye, the other is fine. Not blind and can still see. the swollen eye, only started swelling yesterday, Friday there was no swelling at all. I started a course of melafix immediately on discovery (today being the second day) is there a better medicine that anyone can suggest? I am suspecting it is an in jury that needs to heal, he has had it before a while back and it healed but of course, with anything like this, I want to ensure he gets better quickly. (I have had a red sev die with 2 swollen eyes in the past) feedback welcome.

royals would immediately destroy them with in a night! plants wont survive in a tank when there are royals me thinks. i found that i had a bit of a BBA problem - one royal wiped it out in 48 hours. they just rasp anything edible
