Alanmin I have 3 short stems of Rotala rotundifolia which I really like but can't get to grow in fact the bottom of the stem is turning brown but I have recently added an extra 10w of led to the excisting 15w of t8 on a 54 liter tank so I'm gonna hope it'll come back I also have couple of decent size stems in the emersed grow out which I'll also chuck in and see if it'll grow. anyway do u have any pearl weed or dwarf baby tears available?

looking for some Anubias piticularly smaller leafed (petite) (changed the tittle of recent post as I didn't want to make too many posts)

Nah living there none of those tbh I think they might be beneficial as they probbly live of ditritus and uneaten food and also borrow into the substrate

They look like little beetles anyway I starved my tank for 2 days now and they seem to be gone. The probbly came attached to some plants that I brought. thanks

HI I have noticed 1 or 2 little black bugs on the sand part of my substrate but now THEIR SEEMS TO AROUND 500 OR MORE. How do I get rid of them?

Hi all I was wondering if I could keep a betta in my 60Liter planted tank which has x3 serpae tetras which are peaceful and don't fin nip other fishes or themselves x4 neon tetras which sometimes fight themselves x2 Cory cats the flow is also 5 times the tank volume so 300Lph im asking u guys this because I've herd my current fish are fin nippers and that bettas don't like flow?

I think one of my serpae tetras are pregnant if she is I'll start breeding those I might also try a nice sword tail if I can find one... Btw (non fish related) recently I invested in a greenhouse I'm going to grow speciality crops and sell them on trade me, I'm sure I can make some money with that. I'll find a easily propagated plant ie hedge plant, grow them out and sell them for cheaper than other people like $2 each and I can fit like 1000 plants in there. anyway thanks for all the attention and answering my question it really helps

Well i asked my fish store what they sold the most of in the nicest way and told him I don't want to sell him anything but replied with "sorry I have my own suppliers" well now it's super awkward and I'm gonna have to buy my fish stuff from animates but Alg animates sell cheaper anyway. But I'll still give a shot at breeding a type of fish and continue with my hydroponic style grow bed. Since you guys have even worked at fish stores before could you guys tell me what fish sells. I will sell my stuff one trade me. btw I don't want offset fish keeping costs just wanna try make a bit cash to put into the hobby

Yea For the initial price putting in what do u think might be more profitable fragging and selling zoanthids and other similer corals, emersed plant grow out and propagation or breeding fish because I want to expand on to other areas of out hobby whilst trying to break even or earn some money I am willing to commit 100% also I found a lots of thick tempered shelving glass in my garage I think I can make use of this... thanks

Yea i just got done planting about 20 Java ferns and 15 crypt parvas in the window sill setup I'll try and sell the JavaS once their around 10cm tall right,now their 2-4cm and the parvas after they send out runners. once plants are ready I'll ask the two fish stores and animates in Hamilton I'm probbly not gonna start breeding untill later.

Although I really like the idea of starting a frag tank buts it too expensive so I'll sell plants on trade me to at least pay for new plants and buy more plants and eventually set up a couple of bred butter breeding tanks so to start I'll put some of my crypt parva, Java fern and crested Java fern in my window sill emersed set up...and later expand to Anubis if all goes well. what price should I put the the plants mentioned for? and do u think they will sell?

Hi all I'm looking for fish tank in the 20Liter -60Liter range don't mind condition as long as it looks like a fish tank willing to pay more for tanks in better condition, I'm also looking for flourescent light unit around 40Watts (negotiate price)- Around Hamilton or I'll pay extra if you could drop off i also have quite a bit of plants available (ask if intrested)
