Would the 180 x 80 x 70 tank still be fine to house 4-6 tangs?

Never mind she definitely doesn't want a tank that size in the lounge so I have to go with the 180 x 80 x 70 tank. Do you know what the cost would be to remove my window and then get it reinstalled, if it's not to expensive I might go with the larger tank

So would the those 3 tangs most likely get along in the 500 litre tank. I've done a bit of plying around with the rock work so I'll try to get a photo up of that. For the big tank build I dicided if the tank is going on my room it would only be 180 in length by 70cm in height and 80 cm front to back otherwise I can fit it through my door so I'll have to remove my window which I'm worried will cost a lot considering I'm only 14 years old. Tonight when my mum gets back I'm going to try to convince her to let me set up a large tank in the lounge? Probably 240 x 90 x 70

I'm leaning towards having 3 tangs, kole tang, mimic lemon peel tang and a sailfin tang. Would they be fine together I'm just not sure if the sailfin will outgrow the tank. I'm already planning to get a bigger tank within the next year or so, the bigger tank will be 240cm by 90cm by 76cm. I might make it a bit smaller on the height and potentially on the width but I really like the 3ft width.

So I'm new to the saltwater community, this is going to be my first tank. The tank is (L)140cm by (H)60 by (W)60 with a sump that is 120cm by 50cm by 45cm. The tank is going to be a reef tank, for stocking im going to have 2 clowns, 3-5 chromis, 1 copperband butterflyfish, 1 kole tang. What other tangs can I keep with the kole tang, I was thinking maybe a purple tang but they're a bit on the pricey side, what tangs would you recommend??

Okay thanks for the advice. I'll maybe go with a large school of serpae tetras, would I still then be able to keep some class catfish and some rainbows. Or what fish would make good complimentary fish for the rainbows thanks for the advise

hi guys haven't been on the forums in a while. So I'm setting up a 540 liter tank (150L, 60H, 60W) it's going to be heavily planted with dirt, clay and silica sand, I want the tank to have a lot of smaller fish. I need help with stocking the tank so my thoughts where since I've already got4 bosmani rainbows and I turquoise I would have them as my main focuses fish and probably get a few more rainbows, I also have about 15-20 neon tetras and about 10 corys, 4 ottos. I wanted to add about 10 glass catfish 15 serpie tetras maby some lemon tetras 2 whip tail catfish and some Rams, don't know what type yet And maybe also some harlequins would this stocking fine dont really want any angels for this tanks since I've already got a 400 litre tank with 6 angels and a 120 litre tank with 1 angle cheers Damien

What are the pros and cons to having a fish only tank or a tank with fish and corals??

Hi guys so for the past year and a half or so the I've been into fish it mainly been all about the planted tanks but lately I've setup a small cichlid tank and now I'm thinking about setting up reef tank. so I'm only 13 so can't spend like thousands but I do have a bit to spend. My mums bf can get me any of the equipment I need shipped in and we're going to build the tank at his workshop. Could you guys please recommend what kind of sump to use, what lights and equipment and what fish and corals I should get to start off with. I was looking to make the tank 120cm x 45cm x 45cm is this a ok size. Not 100% set on having a reef tank but would really like to experience it to see if I like it or not.
