I can't answer your question but if you do some research you might be able to find the signs of not enough iron and the signs of too much. That way you can just keep an eye on your plants and adjust how often you dose the tank accordingly Cheers Jude

I love tiger barbs but I have mine on their own - just the barbs and a few bristlenoses. I have heard they are less likely to bother other fish when there is a group of them but I'm not giving them the chance :lol: :lol: :lol: Cheers Jude

Oh no! Now I am getting confused. I've tried heaps of different pumps - the diaphragm ones and the noise of them drives me crazy. I've been wanting the one that Alan has for ages because he says its so quiet but IF the cheaper ones are just as quiet then why spend more money than I have to? Blue, I'm not sure if you've seen my deck - it has a roof and 3 walls and is very protected from the elements. Second plant is ambulia but I can't help with the others. I recognise a few but am not sure of the names. Whatever the last plant is, I like it. If you ever have any to spare I'd love to get some depending on what sort of conditions it likes of course. If it needs high light levels then it would be pointless to put it in my tank. I'd be happy to pay something for it. Cheers Jude

A friend of mine put a tarp under her tank and when she moved it she found water had got under the tarp and the carpet had rotted. You'd probably be better off spreading towels or newspaper around when you do water changes. Cheers Jude
