i research this and after a week of cleaning and scrub they are back.. a bit.
destroys my plants.
sorry gor the blurry image. cleaning tank. doing a 50% water change just to make sure
do we have siamese algae eater or something that can help me get rid of them
i forgot about the brand.. i didnt put any peat just some gravel on top of the aquatic mix.. the bunnings i went to is in mount wellington. its not in the plants outside but its along with the fertilizers.. the guys there didnt know what i was looking for..
amazon swords now growing quite well after 5 months..
pretty sure not saltwater, i was buying my first tank and i didnt know yet that shrimps were not allowed in nz.. i just thought they were expensive.. i pretty sure now that they were the red cherry shrimps with small white dots... i know coz my girl told me they looked nice being polka dotted. they only had 2 as well..
hi guys, did this shrimp exploration go through? can i tag along? been looking for freshwater shrimps... i swear i saw some red cherry ones in a LFS i just cant remember where.. i even remember they were priced astronomically at 200-300 a pop.
:bounce:
go to bunnings, they have an aquatic mix there for $12 for i think 10kg? forgot but i got to use it in 2-3 tanks of mine.. which is a big saving compared to the flourite bag from the LFS,..
no problems so far...
i wish we had similar events here in new zealand...
:cophot: great pictures though!
currently planting my first tank... xmas moss dying on me... :digH:
a strong fixed line would be good.. e.g. long dorsal fins.. or ribbon..
but yes i am refering to guppies with a solid colour body and tail. one colour..
thank you....
that's a long dorsal fin,, i wonder if anyone has ribbon type guppies as well, :nfs:
finally made an account here after reading for awhile.. i'm interested in breeding pure colour strains.. do you guys know where i can get my hands on some... thanks
